Nothing carries the joy of life like enthusiasm. Assuming that you want to be carried somewhere and can afford the payments, few things generate enthusiasm like shopping for a new car, and few enthusiasms wear off faster with the arrival of the payment book. So, we need to look for those things that have more miles per enthusiasm, like learning a new craft; or a new language; or bringing home a new dog or cat; or finding a new talent you didn’t know you have; or having a baby; or renewing old acquaintances; or redoing the den; or getting a high def television set; or adding on a screened-in porch. So, for your hard-earned money and your weary ego, try spending them both on something that lasts longer than fascination with cup holders.

Lack of peace and wholeness is only possible when you have division. We must remember our unity, not differences. After all, when we truly see there is only the One, who is left to fight? With the practice of compassion and tolerance, this Truth reveals itself to us. What you do to another, you have done to yourself — not just metaphorically, but in a very real way.
